No. This program is for adult staff, educators, administrators and communications/family-engagement work - not student podcasting.
Schools may decide how any broader program fits their own policies and audience.

Could this support digital-literacy programming?

Not everyone wants to launch a podcast.
They do not have to. A finished plan, teach-back outline, question set or practice audio can be the complete takeaway.
We have strict privacy and communications protocols.
Use hobbies, local resources, expertise, questions , etc. No one is required to share a personal story publicly.
All school approvals, privacy rules and communication protocols remain in place; publishing is optional and must follow school review.
Our instructors are not podcast experts.
They do not need to be. The guide works as a facilitation and communication tool, with optional support when helpful.
Is bulky, expensive podcasting equipment needed?
Absolutely not!
Podcasting can be done by simply recording from a capable and enabled smart phone or with very simple digital device such as a tablet, etc.
A studio set-up is not needed.
A table, the guides, phones if appropriate and a facilitator are enough to start; planning-only sessions are valid.
